First (large) raindrops at 6:03 PM. Hail began 6:04; with heavy rain and wind (waves or sheets of rain swept across the parking lot). Rain slackened, hail became infrequent at 6:06. Moderate rain, no hail at 6:07. Rain only light by 6:10; a lovely rainbow appeared, complete from ground to crown at 6:12; upper third gone by 6:13; rain stopped by 6:14. Very faint lower leg(s) of secondary bow were evident occasionally. Total rain 0.17”. |
