Heavy thunderstorm began at 2:38 PM, with some very small hail mixing in after a couple of minutes. Some indentations on the hail pad had diameter only 1/16 inch. There were no spots completely covered by hail, just isolated individual pellets, which quickly melted. Temperature dropped from 72 at 2:30 PM to the day's low of 60 at 3:00 PM, during which 0.79 inch of rain fell. |
