| Notes: |
Hail covered the ground within about two minutes (5:02 to 5:04 p.m.) when hail became heavy. It was briefly replaced by rain, then rain subsided and heavy hail began again. Rain resumed briefly after the end of the hailstorm. About 1/2" of hail on most areas of the ground, but distribution uneven. Earlier hailstones completely white; hailstones that fell in later part of storm contained both white and clear ice. Much lightening and thunder during storm. |
