I have never done a hail report and do not have a hail pad (did not know about them until I read about recording hail!) so did the best I could. There was hail only, no rain. We were working in the yard, and small hail stones began to fall. We just kept working as it wasn't hailing hard, but it just kept coming. And it was very windy. We live right at the base of the Eastern Sierra. Earlier in the day, my daughter and I were walking a few miles from here and it REALLY hailed; the path turned white and we paused under a tree. It probably lasted 15-20 minutes. |
