this was our first hailstorm to monitor for the study. we'll know what to look for next time.now that we have a site number, we can submit the hail pad for analysis. most hailstones were white, but about 5% were clear. didn't measure angle of hail, but estimate about 20-30 degrees with moderate winds. The angle changed as the storm passed from west to east. |
