This actually occurred just west of downtown Montreal. It was a cool, but unstable springtime atmosphere setup with small hail, perhaps mixed with graupel. Hail created small accumulation which lasted for 30-45 minutes, which is quite unusual for this area. Trees had not leafed out yet so no leaf damage could occur anyway. |
