0.27in of rain fell with the hail. Very little hail was hard ice, almost all of it was quite slushy, only a few of the largest stones stayed intact. Hail pad was only placed during the last 10 minutes of the storm, and missed the heaviest, though not the largest hail. North is up in hail pad photo. Hail on ground photo was taken at 5:56pm, 2 minutes after storm ended. Hail angle changed throughout storm. |
