Torrential rain started about 3:15 pm, with close lightning and sharp claps of thunder. A few gusts of wind almost blew over deck umbrella. Not aware of hail until I was in sunroom and could hear hail pinging on glass. Really very little amount of hail, hardly saw any pellets. Went out to read gauge for a Sig Wx Rpt, but already overflowed and still raining hard. |
