Notes: |
It was raining softly in the morning. Then the hail started at about 12:10 pm. It remained close to rice or less size the whole time, getting heavier than lighter on-and-off. The heaviest seemed to be at 2pm. It looked like it was turning into a sheet of ice. But at 12:40 large snowflakes started and the ice seems to start melting. From 11am to 3pm .23 accumulated in my gauge, with 1/4" on ground. The "pad" seems to be covered, mostly 1/8" apart or less, and have 2 size hail=both probably pinpoint size. The smaller one was the first fall probably, and the slightly larger was probably the fall at 2pm.(It appeared to hail non stop) |
