In the 19 minute duration of the thunderstorm, there were a couple of lulls where no hail fell, only rain. But these lulls were very short, on the order of a minute or so. Temperature has dropped from about 55° F to 36° F. Wind gust was only about 11 mph with instantaneous wind mostly between 5 and 10 mph. Interestingly, thunder was heard coincident with the first rain drops, and then it was quiet after that.
Hail has accumulated a bit on wooden deck surfaces, rooftops, and firewood. |
