Report for 7/9/2015. Rain and hail fell from about 5:30 to 6:30 PM, but the hail clogged the down spouts. I covered most of the garden plants before the storm. My wife heard a TV boardcast, thank you. The street and parts of the looked like snow covered. Several inches of hail in places. Total of 3.79 inches of water in the gauge. Spent my time trying to keep some down spouts clear. Some water in the basement thru the window wells. I had improved the water flow away from the house, but had not figured on the hail plugging the down spouts. Leaf damage in the garden. |
