HAil was mostly 3/16" in diameter with some 1/4" as temperature was 37F at start and about 35F at end (1/2 hour later) melt was slow at any one time hal was about 2-3 inches apart on ground. Weather conditions- darkness, variations in rain intensity, starting and stopping of hail, lightening and thunder, wind speed -- were all quite variable. KEpt record of event on about a five minute intervall. Did not have hail pad available at time of event. |
