Rain started about 2:50pm, and within about 3 minutes hail started, along with the rain. It was both 3/8" and 1/2" at the same time, with about 60% being the smaller and 30% being the bigger. This was unusual to have so many big ones. The heavy rain and the bigger hail hit the railings and made a big splash, that was about 6 to 8" tall. The rain was very heavy and ran in currents down the property, in the street, and driveway, causing minor flooding. The hail accumulated in corners of the house, about 1" in depth. The dirt/ground was covered with about 1" bare dirt (in between hail stones). No wind to speak of. The sky was 1/2 blue and 1/2 big puffy white clouds (2/3rds was white) with light grey bottoms. I have a pad, and it is almost covered in dents, but I havent counted it. |
